Juneteenth in brief
On June 19, 1865, an order read in Galveston, Texas, told the last enslaved people in the state that they were free, more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation. The date, nicknamed Juneteenth (June + nineteenth), became a day of celebration and remembrance, and a US federal holiday in 2021.

Sizing and care
Redbubble t-shirts are printed to order: there is no stock, each piece is made for you. Before ordering, open the size guide on the product page and measure a well-fitting t-shirt laid flat: chest width and length. If you are between sizes, the Classic fit is roomier and the Essential fit is slimmer.
To keep the print sharp for a long time: wash cold inside out, no tumble drying and never iron directly on the design. These are the usual tips for a printed t-shirt; the garment label has the final word.
Juneteenth is one of the key print on demand dates in the United States: find it with all the others in our print on demand calendar.
